Could probably google up a link and might do later but Lytham Club Day is basically a carnival and fun fair which runs every year and is organised by, well, Lytham Club I assume....I'm sure theres more to it that that but only ever been to the fun fair myself. Guess theres probably a lot of charity stuff behind it but don't have the details, its really popular with familys and teenagers
I think Lytham pubs all get overun with crowds. Think theres a precession (spelling?) which runs through the centre which I'm hoping to see this year.

well, I went last weekend, really nice day out! Watched the procession which I've never seen before but was lively and fun! Wasn't too impressed with the commercialism which seemed to have creeped in (come on a couple of 'excellent cleaning' vans with a ballon tied to the arial is just not in the spirt of things!) Had a walk through the fair before the kids all got too drunk and sat in Lytham centre and had a sandwich my me misses and my daughter! Couldn't believe how busy Lytham was...especially the pubs, some people were starting very early and looked like being out for the duration! ....bit more civilised than Blackpool on a Saturday afternoon though as you can probably guess!!

Yesterday we went to St Annes in the pouring rain,,,We went to find Les Dawsons statue which we thought was at Lytham,,got to say it wasn't a funny statue as i thought it would be ,It was more like Mr Bumble from Oliver Twist
