Blackpool North trains to be electrified
What a fantastic news! 17 miles track between Blackpool North and Preston is to be electrified by 2016 and will cut the journey times by 50% to 15 mins. Not only that the trains will be more comfortable, cleaner and greener
 I am wondering if there will be direct trains to London or Scotland, this would be great boost for Blackpool.
