Gaming Machines
Since the Gaming Act 2005, all gambling in the uk has undergone a radical change. however, it has not in my opinion improved the regulation of gambling across the country.
The gambling act aimed to have removed all gaming machines from non licensed premises eg take away shaops, taxi offices etc. however, the gaming machines which probably payed out £5 have been replaced in these premises by so called skill with prizes machines that have payouts of £40 (or £200 in a tattoo parlour! in blackpool) which are not deemed gaming machines and yet to the majority of the general public are gaming machines interestingly crane grab machines are classified as gaming machines
