Blackpool Pleasure Beach - sells stuff on ebay
The pleasure beach are having a bit of a clearout. They are selling the boats from a children's ride, a few old 'Rollercoaster' carridges and the car that was outside the Space Invader II for the photo opportunity.

Well it's better than just scrapping them I suppose. I would love to have a big garden where I could put them as fun features. Little kids would love it.

I saw in the paper the other day that the landlady at our local has bought some of the old illuminations for the xmas lights. cant wait to see what they look like ,

We tried to buy an illuminated palm tree!!! but they had sold out. My partner (Michelle) loves palm trees but the real ones are so expensive and I dont think it would survive the winter winds and salt so an illuminated one would have been perfect.

on the bus route to poulton ,there's a house with a great big teddy outside,,i am sure its one from the illuminations...(very impressive)

Have you not tried that lighting place just before you hit the motorway Pete. Its on feblands I think its called where the old tip was. they have an illuminated palm tree outside and its really impressive when its all lit up at night.
Couldnt say what the cost is but may be worth a look they do all kinds of lighting .
